James Immekus

 

Mini biography

Born in Crystal Lake, Illinois and grew up in Kennesaw, Georgia. He attended Harrison High School where he found his love for theatre. In his Junior year he was voted Best Actor in a one act play which took a State Championship called Nicolas Nickelby by Charles Dickens and in his Senior year won Best Actor at the Southeastern Theatre Festival in Greensboro, N.C. in a play called All in the Timing.  Voted by his graduating class as 'Most Talented', his work there led him to attend the The Goodman Theatre School at DePaul University in Chicago where he received his BFA in Acting (2003) and graduated with Honors. He then went on to perform the title role in the world premiere of Erin Cressida Wilson's musical entitled "Wilder" at the Contemporary American Theatre Festival in Shepherdstown, West Virginia. James returned to Chicago to perform in "Finding the Sun" by Edward Albee at the Goodman Theatre in honor of Mr. Albee's accomplishments in playwriting. He then made his move to Los Angeles in which he has taken up a love for Poker and double-bogey golf. He has filmed a mock-umentary comedy called Boxboarders in Laguna Beach, California and a horror flick called The Care Taker in San Marcos, California.  James has guest starred on TV in episodes for House, Numbers, Drake & Josh, Cold Case, Charmed and Without a Trace.
